Bluetooth transmission
The Relay Coach BLE is the Bluetooth relay of the Freelap system.
It automatically receives timing data from the FxChip when an athlete crosses a FINISH transmitter, then transmits the times to the MyFreelap app and/or to the LED Display.
Thanks to its internal memory, it can also record data even if the app is not open, without an Internet connection and without a mobile network. The times can then be downloaded into MyFreelap whenever needed.
The Relay Coach BLE is particularly suited to the following disciplines : alpine skiing and biathlon.
Relay Coach BLE, the link between the field and your results
The Relay Coach BLE secures the transmission of timing data in training environments where distance, cold, snow or field conditions can make direct time retrieval more difficult.
Installed after the FINISH transmitter, it receives the data from the transponder, automatically stores it and transmits it via Bluetooth to the mobile device or LED screen.
It provides a reliable solution for regular training sessions, repeated passages and setups where the coach needs to follow times without being positioned directly at the finish line.

Alpine skiing
In alpine skiing, the Relay Coach BLE allows you to retrieve finish times and transmit them to MyFreelap or to an LED Display. It is particularly useful during slalom training, giant slalom training or timed passages in outdoor conditions.
Main uses: timed finish, time transmission, slalom training, repeated passages.

Biathlon
In biathlon, the Relay Coach BLE makes it easier to transmit and save times on training courses. It allows data to be retrieved after a finish passage or at a defined zone, then transmitted to MyFreelap or to an LED Display.
Main uses: timed finishes, training laps, repeated passages, data storage.
