Main use cases in soccer
Sprints
Time your Start-Finish drills to measure total time, speed, best time, time gap and ranking. The soccer starter pack is designed for this type of use.
Split times
Add one or more intermediate transmitters to analyze specific running sections. The soccer page and advanced pack indicate that you can obtain up to 2 split times in the advanced setup.
Agility tests
Use MyFreelap preconfigured drills to time your agility tests. The current page specifically highlights these training scenarios for soccer.
Group training
Time several players with a simple wireless system, also designed for small groups and team training. The current page presents an advanced pack that can time up to 5 players in standard timing mode.
Useful components
FxChip BLE
Attach the FxChip BLE to the player’s shorts or to the FxBelt. Place it at waist level, centered in line with the navel and in a vertical position. Activate it by shaking it horizontally. Its stated battery life is approximately 100 h, its charging time approximately 5 h, and it automatically turns off after 1 h without transmitter detection.
Tx Pro Team
Use the Tx Pro Team as a start transmitter. Clip it to a stake or tripod, place it on the start line, set it approximately at the same height as the player’s transponder, and point the arrow in the running direction. To start, begin approximately 50 cm before the transmitter.
Tx Junior Pro
Use the Tx Junior Pro as a split or finish transmitter. Place it on the ground, at the edge of the track, less than 1.5 m from the player’s path, and 80 cm after the desired distance, except for flying starts using a Tx Junior Pro as the start transmitter.
The MyFreelap app
Create your training session in MyFreelap from the home screen. Select a preconfigured drill with tutorial, or use Quick Timing to start with the basic features, then click Start to receive your data.
Mobile device
To ensure perfect data reception, place your mobile device between 10 m and 50 m maximum after the FINISH transmitter, approximately 1 meter above the ground. If you are using a Relay Coach BLE, place it 10 m after the FINISH transmitter, approximately 1 meter above the ground.
