The start gate transmitter

Automatic transmission

The Tx Gate Pro transmitter is a start gate specifically designed for ski starts.

When the skier passes through the gate, as their shins move the wand by 10° in accordance with the FIS standard, the Tx Gate Pro emits a signal that automatically and instantly triggers the FxChip timer.

    Triggers the start with 0.01-second accuracy.

    The start is triggered at the exact moment when the skier’s shins move the gate wand by 10°, in accordance with the FIS standard.

    The Tx Gate Pro has no button. It automatically turns on in a fraction of a second when the skier starts, then turns off after each start.

    It is lightweight and easy to install. The fiberglass wand automatically returns to its original position after each start.

    Works with FxChip and FxChip BLE transponders.

Installation

Preferably plant a 4 x 4 cm wooden pole on the start line. Attach your Tx Gate Pro to the pole using the transmitter's Velcro straps.

The transmitter wand must be placed at ankle height, parallel to the ground. The front of the transmitter housing must face the course.

The Tx Gate Pro has no button. It automatically turns on when the gate wand is moved by the skier and turns off after each start.

Get into your starting position, with both shins just in front of the wand. Start by passing through the gate.
